Jax Ng’s Story
I’ve started many businesses and failed. I’ve started a company selling t-shirts, another company developing software, and yet another designing websites. I’ve tried generating leads and sales through forums, mailing out brochures, and hiring telemarketers for cold calling. None of these methods worked.
After shutting down my companies one by one, I became a network marketer. I did almost everything a typical network marketer would —running roadshows, handing out flyers, and so on. I tried hard to generate leads using these methods, but they didn’t work too.
When social media became popular, I started posting content. I wasted a lot of time creating content, but I got no results. So I tried advertising on Facebook. Sadly, I wasted a lot of money and got little results.
Deep down, I knew that the best way to generate leads was through social media. And I knew that the only way to be good at social media is to learn digital marketing.
So for the next 5 years, I attended lots of digital marketing courses. While I was attending those courses I also took on a lot of digital marketing projects.
Before I knew it, I was able to help my clients generate lots of leads quickly at low cost. I was also able to help them boost their sales through personal branding. That’s when I decided to do digital marketing full time.
